I don't think the word "WOW" conveys what I felt today. I don't think there's a word in fact. I had been asked to bring my Z to a little-known show here in Pasadena at famous Art Center College of Design. For those that don't know, this is on of THE premier design schools and many great automotive designs come from it's alumni. This was only their third show and most people I know had never even heard about it. Let me tell you now...they will know...they will ALL know! Forget the ricers and Hot Import Nights, this is where it's at if you're an automotive enthusiast!

I could have made an html link or resized them to 640X480, but what's the fun in that? I like to torture you guys and I like hi-res pics :)

Anyway, I got in around 9:30 this morning to a decent lineup of cars and such. Your basic Z06s, some street rods and Vipers. Nothing too fancy...at least not compared to what I'd find later. As I walked to the registration line I happened to glance to my left and nearly tripped over my tongue. What I saw was paradise...what any red-blooded male would just about die for...nearly every exotic and rare car you could think of all neatly packed into on grassy field. Good god, bury me here!

Heaven. If my camera had an asshole, I'm sure it would have puckered up for the raping that was about to commense. I was off like a kid in a candy store! The very first thing to catch my eye was the almighty Enzo...

Yes, it's a Lamborghini...

Ever seen 16 cylinders mounted transversely into a mid engine layout? No, it's not a Lambo and it's not a Ferrari. Say hello to the Cizeta-Moroder!

Want to hear what 16 Cylinders sound like? Here's a short clip: Click Me

Porsche 356C...oh yes.

Some of you older guys may remember this from To Catch a Thief. The Alpine.

If I was a rapper and wanted a Bentley, I'd take this one any day...complete with suicide doors.

Much like the jailbait floating around, I bet this is a tight fit :D

Callaway C12

If you recognize these two cars then you know your shit. You Turbo Magazine whores just wont understand :fawk:

Damn.

Not excited yet? How about the car that forced Ferrari to pull completely out of GT racing at one point...it just could not be defeated. If you know your racing history you know damn well how rare and valuable this bad boy is...the Shelby Cobra Daytona :D

Pete Brock was even here to talk about the car. So how about a video of it running? It can be arranged by clicking here: Click Me

Seeing as I'm a Twin Turbo whore, this was one of my favorites. A Twin Turbo Citroen built for Bonneville. Hell, even the towcar was another Citroen "pickup".

Mr. Petersen himself brought this car from the museum. You're looking at the first FWD car, also known as the Cord. This one is for the Honda guys ;)

Have a ton of cash laying around? Want to have your OWN car built with your OWN design cues and desires met? So-Cal Speed Shop will do it for you. Here you see the Xeno III Personal Concept car. No two cars are alike. Did I mention this thing will do 160mph and has a sub 5-second 0-60 time? Big deal, my car beats that...but this thing runs on PROPANE. Hell, you can drive in the carpool lane alone because it's an NGV vehicle. Trippy.

One of many Dinos...this thing was clean!

If you're going to copy the Sultan of Brunei, you're going to need a Ferrari FX

This Fiat is tiny...even for a Fiat. Mini-me could pimp this hardcore.

This Mercedes owns you. A collectors dream car if you have a million or two to burn. Gullwing > *.*

What happens when you stick a V12 Jaguar motor into a light-weight Street Rod? You get this monster.

It might not have a V12, but this Jaguar XK-140 Aerodyne is flat out tits. Any Jag collector would trade his left nut for this beauty.

So there I am, sitting on the grass admiring some jailbait (and a few cars too :D) when I hear this thing coming down the road. It sounded like a tank...and I was close. What you see is Jay Leno crashing the festivities in a monster custom car powered by a 990hp Air-Cooled Patton TANK engine! The tranny and diff are from a Greyhound bus.

Look at the size of this thing!

You just don't get the full feeling of how big this thing was without video, so here's a snippet from when he rolled in: Click Me

Leno was cool enough to pose with my friend Amir

How about some Lotuses...or is that Lotii? :o

And a sweet S7. Don't even try to touch this thing on the track.

This is a tricked out Mercedes meant to look like an old Nomad...what a hybrid grocery getter!

This is the car of the show. There's a lot of cars that are worth more, would turn more heads and probably do better on a track. But this thing is sick on so many levels. Looks like just another street rod, huh?

A look in the trunk...pretty, but nothing too crazy, right?

Wait a second...that's a lot of header in there...

WTF!? That's a Ferrari V12. And it's so clean you could eat off it. Imagine cruising down PCH in this thing...with a power/weight ratio like no other and the sound of a wound up Ferrari engine at 9,000rpm...  It's no wonder this Moal Torpedo is Tim Allen's.

But wait, there's more. No, it's not leather...you're looking at a friggen OSTRICH interior. It was unlike anything I'd ever seen. So damn nice...the photos do it NO justice.

Some more pics...check that door handle.

If you're still reading this you are a trooper! Congratulations! Anyway, on to the single seat Moretti roadster

Too small for ya? How about the Mosler MT900.

Check the space for the oil container...lol

Abe Lincoln loves the lip!

A random scenery shot

My car looking VERY out of place :D

ATTN: Riceboys, this car actually DESERVES the big wing. His Roadrunner horn even worked. What a clean Superbird.

Love the curves on this Fiat front end

It's not a motorcycle...it's not a car...it's half way in between and sporting three wheels. It's the T-Rex

Sure...this is a nice Lamborghini...

But it has NOTHING on the ultra, ULTRA rare Miura SV. Those that know, know :)

And last but not least, my dream garage. Okay, dream fake plastic lawn :o Give me the cars on this tarmac and I'll NEVER need another one again!

That's it ladies and gentlemen. I hope I haven't broken genic's server and/or your internet connection. If you survived it and got all the pics/videos, you are one patient SOB. Hope you guys enjoyed it...I know I did! :D

PS: Genic ROCKS for hosting this =)
